Harry Potter Parody Article About Prince Harry
Today I ran across an interesting article about the British Prince Harry that was written as a sort of parody/spoof based on the second book in the Harry Potter series. Instead of being called Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets the article is called “Harry and the Chamber of Ragheads” and is meant as the sequel to the author’s previous tale “Harry and the Nazi uniform.” The story is about the recent well publicized news showing Prince Harry saying some non-Princely things (well, actually even normal people probably should not say the things he said, but normal people do not usually make the news just for saying the words). One of the things Prince Harry does is call “an Army cadet wearing a headscarf a “raghead,” hence where the term raghead comes for this parody. The parody is really only about one paragraph long making references to Professor Dumbledore and Hermione. The article is not very Harry Potter related, but I thought it was worth bringing up because it is interesting to see how popular literary characters are being used to refer to the situation about Prince Harry.
