HP Tops with 4th to 6th Grade Kids

by

Not surprisingly, Harry Potter topped the list of must-read books according to the “Kids’ Pick for 2007″ online poll conducted by Scholastic. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince won in the 4th—6th grade category, while Charlotte’s Web won in the 2nd—3rd grade category and Eragon won in the 6th grade and up category.

It’s my understanding that HP wasn’t listed in the other categories, thus it’s only appearance is in the category in which it won. Beyond 4th-thru-6th graders, aren’t the HP books the must-read books in any age category? I certainly think so.

It’s also interesting to note that the top books in the three categories listed above all have movie versions due out soon.
